Default Xenocron usb cable pin out

well i bought the usb cable to datalog from xeno and i'm having 2 weeks worth of problem to get freelog to work and still nothing. i read on pgmfi that the cable pin out goes

black-red-empty-white

i got:

black-white-empty-red

and if you were looking at the usb connector on the cable with the input pointing up the cable there are:

empty-red-white-black.

sanity check don't work for crap and i can't log anything please help. J12 cut, quickdatalogger+rtp, ftdi drivers so on and on...

I want to know how do the lights blink when working correctly.. on my case if i were to turn on my car with no usb connected the red and green stay on.
if i press connect on freelog, the green flashes rapidly but no red. i'm loosing kilometrictons of guap. cuz of this. please help

Don't worry about the colors.

As long as you have the same color wires going from pin 1 to 1, 2 to 2, and 4 to 4, you'll be fine.

IF that's not the way yours is, either fix it yourself or complain to xenocron.

Black is always pin one, this last batch is pinned correctly but the wrong color wire was used for the other two. I cant say what problems you might be having with freelog, but at leas now you know its wired right

i understand.. but i wonder about the wiring on the board. lets put colors aside and specify by RX,tx and gnd.

my cables are solder to the usb converter as fallow

empty-rx-tx-gnd

there is no documentation out there to back my wiring up and it would matter hos mutch i try to change stuff up on the ecu side if this are still wrong..

never mind i found that my cable is wire right, is just that the white and red are switch. still cant connect to freelog but i know the cable is right. I use hyperterminal to connect tot he com port where my cable is and what ever i type ecos back to my screen, letting me know that in fact is transmitting and receiving. I still have to test switching TX-RX on my ecu to see if freelog will connect.

I count from where the ecu board says 1. That pin is red, same on the usb plug-in side. But if you want to go by the arrow, then it's white, which is pin 4 on the ecu
