damn i'm glad i got the burn1 too. That thing seems way more complicated and doesn't look portable at all...ie not good for burning chips in your car where its gonna get thrown around while street tuning :P

 

get me a write up on this piece and I'll try to find a vegas hooker to give you a hand job for $10 or less, preferably less:

Excellent write up...he does it again :bows:. I'll add thise however, I can never get my programmer to write using the "willem" setting. I have to be on the PCB3 setting. I follow the dip switch settings which is just the exact opposite of the willem setting and it works like a charm. I'll also take a picture of the wooden box i made to protect the unit.

 

props, that was a great writeup and now that i'm not completely scared of that burner, i think i'm gonna pick one up.

lol, i would trade ya, but honestly, i'd rather have my cheap, ugly, inconvenient willem than a moates any day you should see all the chips this thing supports

 

Ditto, but i have the expensive, not half bad looking, semi-convenient Xtronics. ---- this one can even program the DS1230y's that come in RTP kits
