willem chip burner help
hopefully I'll figure this out and get my car running today. here's how I have it set up:
I get Error :Write sector 0 when I click program chip with my base map selected. I don't have much experience with this stuff so help is greatly appreciated.

i don't know, i have the dual power enhanced and it looks totally different than that. what sw are you using? did you follow these steps?
1) plug in data cable
2) open program
3) put chip in burner
4) power up burner
mine only works if i do it in that order. did you do a hardware test and it says 'hardware present' in the bottom of the sw. do you have to put a jumper wire between pin 3 and 31 like with the enhanced? i don't know, these are just shots in the dark

where are your other jumpers on the board, or are there none? my board has jumpers that i have to use for 29c's, they're the yellow highlighted things in the first pic. try using the .97g software, that's what i use. when you put the chip in, do you do an electronic id, blank test, verify, and read the chip (then look in the buffer to make sure theres no data on the chip)? all these things come back positive and you still get an error?
