where to install nokia cable driver in crome?

Default where to install nokia cable driver in crome?

i downloaded the nokia datalogging cable driver off chris' website but i'm not sure where to install it in crome to get it to connect to the ecu... i can't figure it out. any help would be appreciated.

You just install the driver so windows sees the the controller. If you have crome pro you should just be able to pick the COM port.

plug usb into laptop and ecu into car, power car on and windows will recognize a new device.

when it asks for the driver for this new device, give it the nokia driver.

You can just plug it in and load the drivers. It doesn't need to be attached to anything to be recognized.

If you are using a generic ebay cable, make sure you use the drivers that came with it...the regular nokia ones dont work with mine, only the ones that came on the cd
