...on a DOHC. It runs pretty good on my SOHC. Tad on the rich side, but definately a conservative tune for a SOHC.

So let me get this straight. The boost side is setup for a B18b running 450's, so, this should run ok, if a bit rich, in my car. what about the boost timing how is that worked? It is just that the vacuum side is fucked, so if i get some stock fuel and timing maps worked on the vacuum side and reduce the fuel by about %40 should this run ok?

Oh one last Q, in TE2 when i open try21.bin the vac pressure numbers across the top look strange the first 4 are the same is this supposed to be like this?

Regards,

The ROm is setup as a base tune for a boosted B18A. If you're running a SOHC, it'll work fine, a bit rch, but fine.

It is just that the vacuum side is fucked, ( I wasn't aware that the vacuum side has issues) so if i get some stock fuel and timing maps worked on the vacuum side and reduce the fuel by about %40 should this run ok?
I don't know anything about your setup. This ROM should run fine, as is, on any boosted SOHC (personally tested up to 10psi).

its for a dohc, i just got my shitty af guage and it reads halfway in to the rich side of the scale so i figure that is ok.

It is just that the vacuum side is fucked, ( I wasn't aware that the vacuum side has issues) so if i get some stock fuel and timing maps worked on the vacuum side and reduce the fuel by about %40 should this run ok?

i meant by fucked running lean and not having good timing, sorry, bad description

also my car jerks pretty bad as it hits 0 on the boost guage and the guage isnt reading any boost but when i let my foot off the throttle it dumps quite a bit out of the dump valve!!! any ideas, could it be the map sensor?

I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I'm not aware of any vacuum specific issues with the ROMs.

I just updated the TurboEDIT download page with the current stable ROM (now that there is one). Try to burn that and see if your car jerks the way you described before.

And we'll see if we can go from there. Also make sure you have the latest TurboEDIT editing environment installed. (*-Try6.exe)

I finally got my ---- together and finished the setup for good using a custom FMIC and s/s charge pipes so everything is good, took the car out with the stable rom and using TE try6 and it stutters like ---- but i'm sure that its just in need of a little fine tuning on my part to the ignition as it runs ghettodyne's 450.bin ok.
