Yeah a toggle switch would work...But you need to use a relay switched off the ignition or you'll forget sometime and drive the car with the o2 sensor in the exhuast but turned off and that tears them up.
And powered directly off the battery is the best way.

the thing that really stumps me on the physical end of the installation is where does the analog output hook into the car at? I have a plx m300 and that is the one thing that is bugging me.

what I did was make a custom harness by cutting the stock o2 sensor off and then using the white wire from there to hook up my analog output. you could also get your ground and power from there, but I do it directly to the harness.

so if I wanted to install the wideband today, without the turbo, and in the stock sensor location, i could remove the narrow band sensor, install the wideband, give the unit power from the appropriate source, and hook the analog outputs to the ecu and I'd be fine?
