Default USB/AC Willem EPROM Programmer

ok i just got this programmer and just went to there web site and was reading and then seen that you need a power suppley and was wondering if you have to get on from www.sivava.com or can i get one from somewhere else and do i need a USB POWER or a ADAPTER POWER the burner i got is USB/AC Willem EPROM Programmer thanks donny

You can use the USB port of your computer to power it. It transfers data across a parallel cable. If you don't have a USB port (you need to get a new computer ) you can power it with an ac/dc convertor. I'd just goto radioshack and get a multivoltage one because different voltages will work better for different chips.

yeah, if you got the dual power willem, it *should* have come with a usb cable and a printer cable, the printer cable actually transfers the data, and the usb cable provides the power. if you didn't get the usb cable, just go pick one up from radio shack or any other place that carries computer supplies.
