Eprom programmer Group Buy CLOSED!!
1/26/04 This group buy is closed, we had 8 programmers and 8 Zifs bought, I don't know everyone's HMT names, because they didn't include them with the payment (tsk, tsk...) but the order is in, almost $900 to Batronix, they've gotta love us. Thanks to the participants, and sorry to the guys who misunderstood it. If you paid with an eCheck or wanted to send me payment via Mail, I returned the money, because the eChecks would not clear until later this week, and I can't afford to front the money for anyone, if I could I would, but I'm just a broke college kid too, that put almost all of his resources into this burner... We're going in on the Eprom Programmer 4 from Batronix. It's the nice one with the case, adapter, cable, and software, essentially a very nice unit.
How it's gonna work:
The Deadline for this is Tomorrow, Sunday 1/25. Payments may be made to me via paypal or you can send me a MO, or Cash (your risk) or Cashier's Check, whatever. I'm gonna place the order first thing Monday morning (9:00-10:00 AM CST), and then when I get them, I'll divy up the order, and ship them out to you guys from my place. While this sounds stupid and more costly, it's not, since the products are coming from Germany, and shipping to individuals from there would end up being more costly.

5...19 Pieces: US$ 92.74 *GOAL*

28 Pin ZIF socket for our ECUs

So add up whatever quanity you want of each (using the goal quanity prices), and then send me paypal or whatever. If we go higher than the goal quanities, I'll ship a refund with your order.
Add $15 for shipping/handling from Batronix to me, and from me to you, plus add 3% to the whole order if paying paypal, to cover the fee. If shipping to you is less (probably will be), I'll ship a refund with your order. Basically, I can't risk fronting all the money before we know total costs which won't be until I ship them...

$92.74
$8.41
= $101.15
= $15 s&h
= $116.15x 1.03 (paypal only)
= $119.63 or round up to $120 actual paypal fees are slightly higher, if you send me $120, I get 116.22, or $0.07 more that the estimated cost. Remember, I'll refund the money saved in shipping, and $120 is easy to do...
I'd estimate up to $5-6 bucks back, but when I did a test order from Batronix on 10 sets, shipping was about $100, or $10/person. I'll make a list to show progress during the week with order quanities at the top.

The kit version won't count as one of the numbers, but if we got the number of kits to 5 or above... then I'll include it, otherwise, it wouldn't make a difference for the buy.

OK teener, The $15 covers shipping from Germany (as in Europe) to me and then from me to you. International shipping is expensive... and I estimated it (by doing a mock order) at about $10/person, based on a 10 piece order (just under $100 shipping). And then I have $5 to cover shipping and handling (padded envelopes) from me to you. If it works out to be a lot less (probably will), I'll send the difference with your order.
So NO they aren't making a killing, international shipping is just a bitch.
