Default unsure...... b16 turbo ?'s

so i really want to start getting everything together to boost my 95 del sol w/ a b16. i pretty much have everything mapped out as to what i'm going to put into the kit, except for fuel managment. i'm thinking about going w/ dsm injectors, w/ an apexi vafc. i'm kinda hesitant on this though because i've been getting mixed reviews about the afc hack. i'm only planning on running 5-7 lbs w/ a t3, fmic and dsm blow off valve, but i'm going to need something reliable as well since i'm goin to college in less than a year. what'd u all think? this is my first turbo project, and i'd really appreciate all input
::edit:: i've been on here for awhile looking through all the threads, and you guys all seem to be really intelligent about what you do so hopefully you can help me out and answer some of my questions. alright, i'm done sucking up now. i swear. :P

i vote for uberdata also. its really an awsome setup. read threw the uberdata stuff, its really got lots of features and well its pretty much free (donations are always nice of course).

i swapped my car from OBD0 to OBD1 so i could run uberdata...

i wanted to run uberdata before, but i'm deffinatley a newb when it comes to fuel managment....hell i wouldn't know where to start makin my own maps. plus i don't have a laptop. if i get my setup goin, and someone would be willin to help me that'd be great, but i just need somethin that will let me run my car decently w/o meltin down any ring lands, or throwin a rod through the block. that's why i was concidering the afc hack. i might just start readin up and go uberdata, but it'll deffinatley be a learning experience. BTW, 95 del sol w/ a b16....obd 0,1,or 2

Sup, bro. I got a 95 del sol b16a3 too I'm getting my setup together, and I just got done ordering an apexi v-afc II. But, I have heard legendary things about uberdata. I wish I would have went that route. . . but, I don't think I have the skills to do that yet. I figured that as long as I get the turbo hardware in, I can always change around my management. So, I think I might switch to uberdata after I get the turbo on my car and run it for a little while w/the v-afc II.

As far as what ecu we have, I'm pretty sure it's the OBD1 p30. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. You can learn all about this stuff at http://www.pgmfi.org Go there and read EVERYTHING! Hell, read everything twice. . . It pays to learn and that place is a gold mine.

http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/Library/OBD1 - Here's a link for diff. types of obd1 ecus.

Good Luck
-Rob
