dont flame me, i looked through 4 pages of this stuff and cant find anything im looking for..
1)if i buy the batronix burner kit, do i get everything i would need?
2)by socketing the ecu the chips are removable, correct?
3)ive seen something about people getting the uberdata kit, what is that, and where do you get it? i dont see anything about it on the uberdata site
4)im i correct in assuming that when you get the chip in the burner hooked to the computer you just dump the bin files from the uberdata site into them and then tune them from there?
and can a speed shop tune the uberdata on a dyno like other engine managements?
thanks in advance for the help

Yes but the Moates is better.
Yes with a zif socket

Yes sort of. You have to point the burner software to the bin. It doesn't have to be in the uberdata file.
Most speed shops won't be able to tune it unless they know what they are doing. But you can adjust where they tell you.

Most speeds shops (Any that can tune Hondata) can tune Uberdata, they just won't. OBD1 is OBD1. Hondata, Uberdata, Crome, whatever.. They all use the same numeric to get the same results. The only difference is the interface, and some backend ROM code tht the end users doesn't even have tow orry about.
The reason that most shops won't touch it is because it's "unfamiliar" to them. And don't want to be liable if something goes wrong.

The Moates burner is awesome I have it. You'll love it.
To clarify that TurboEF9 is right. A local tuning shop with a Dyno would not touch my car and had never heard of Uberdata. He basically blew me off. The guy said he hadn't even tuned a Hondata before. I am going to try another shop......CT sucks!
