92 DX w/ JDM d15B vtec motor

at the store, tune up parts(ie-plugs, wires, cap, rotor) should be purchased for what car/motor?? I'm assuming I should get parts for any EX Civic Vtec(D16Z6)?? Thanks

what about the timing belt i dont know if the 1.5 vtec is dif from the 1.6 vtec but i know my dx belt is dif than the ex

 

humm....i have pondered this myself. I also had to turn to www.honda-tech.com for this one, get a few more opinions.

D16Z6 is the belt you want.

I dont have a D16Z6 YET but I wondered all this and found out the anwsers...I am gonna get a D15 Vtec when my D16Z6 pops.

 

the plugs on the D15B vtec ARE NOT THE SAME AS D16Z6 plugs..

it assumed that you can use them im sure you can.

but the correct plugs is that same as the B20(CRV).

these are the plugs that are recomended by Honda.
and are writen in Plain English Text on the top portion of the Timing Cover.

remember the D15b vtec makes 128.2 hp@flywheel becuase its got all the right parts.
the D16 plug is not even the same HEAT RANGE
D15b Vtec= 128.2hp <--slightly less torque
D16z6 vtec=127. hp <-- slightly more torque
