exept the oil pump!!. 3s motors arnt toyota motors. they are yamaha motors. with toyota valve covers.

yamaha builds most of toyotas performance engines. and if they didint manufacture it they had a hand in engineering it. my jap 3sge says yamaha all over it. but my american one didint have it anywhere. but it had the blank spots where japanese engine says yamaha on it.

hey... so how much boost you thnk a 5sfe can withstand RAWR? cuz i was pretty sure 3sge are stronger than 5sfe.. Oh and.. where dd you get your 3sge engine? do they come stock in any US engines?? i always thought they were just japanese.

they came in some 4th gen gts celicas. thats it for the states though. orderd my new motor from nippon for 560 somthing shipped. to where i used to work. honestly tuned right. im not sure how much it could handle. on the toyota fourms everyone says like 6-7 psi. but they run the most jank *** engine management ive ever seen. its usualy an fmu with out any retardation of the timing. if you had somthing decent id say you could be fine for like 12 psi all day. but to be safe id stay in the 7-8 if your just going to run an fmu.
