OK looking for a friend on any toyota EMS sys like uberdata or turboedit has anyone heard of any out there

toyotas dont really have a DIY style EMS, aside from something universal like the SMT-6 SMT-7, or something like megasquirt.

****, I know the megasquirt is universal.. what is the SMT-6 and 7? ..similar devices?

 

lot's of folks running MegaSquirt on Toyotas with great success, most of the stock wiring is adaptable so it's just a case of splicing the MS in at the end of the harness where the stock ECU used to go. Their are folks who reprogram toyota ECUs but it's commercialized and not cheap, about $700-1000 (techtom).

check out perfect power (think its perfectpower.com not sure tho)

they are a piggyback setup, can control a ---- ton of stuff, makes an afc look like a preschool toy. the smt-7 is the next step up from the 6, not quite out just yet.
