Testing Injectors
Wow.. It's been forever since I've posted here....
Anyway, I've gotten ahold of some 440s from a Toyota 3S-GTE, but they're pretty much useless to me, since they're side feed. Anyways, I was hoping to sell them or something, but I'd rather not send anyone non-working parts. Is there any way to tell if the things are functional without sending them out to a shop? IE, if I put a 12v source to them will they just click and not get damaged?

i took a 9volt and some wire like you would use to test a speaker to make sure they weren't stuck on mine. a lot of time when they sit unused they will get dry and stuck and not necessarily work when you first install them. it took a few tries to get them unstuck.
if you can find the manual for that engine, there should be a specific resistance between the two terminals. I remember when i got my 450's i had to clean them up really good before i got the right resistance.
