hmmm prior to your installation was your car running fucked up? That signal to the SAFC is what the ECU is reading, there is a seperate wire to the tachometer.
I'm still willing to bet its somewhere in the settings incorrect (wrong type of car or something).

Got it all sorted 
The settings were cool and so was the wiring. But for some reason the SAFC didn't like the rpm feed to the ECU. I took the RPM feed from the tach and its reading the rpms fine now. May just be my car or the EDM cars ... who knows ... lol
The car was working fine before hand and is still continuing to do so, but i have no A/F gauge installed at the moment so don't want to mess with the fule settings. But it should be turbo'd soon
