someone with summit rpm switch HELP?
im using it to activate v-tec how do i install it, i hooked it all to a relay this web sight showed and still didnt work its really pissing me off. please help. thanks

its not activating vtec at all, im not sure how to hook it up i guess, i hooked the white wire to the (-) on the coil under the dizzy cap. tell me how yours is hooked up please. also its a summit one right, with the litte switches on the inside.

Ok... i ahve one,
You have to hook up a relay because the activation wire on the rpm switch is negative.. so you have to use a relay and put the rpm wire to the negative on that so when it hits it switches and then put the (switche don spot) to the vtec wire.
I'm not very good at explaining things, but maybe that gives you a better idea.

this sight i was on said devide them by two so 4400 would be 2200? also going to the relay it said there should be a 12v from the battery, then another power wire spliced into the wire to the box going to the relay, then the yellow wire going in and another going to to the vtec solinoid?
