rpm switch help??

Re:rpm switch help??
Ok, first you need to program it. If it's to be used on a 4 cylinder (which I assume it is) cut the red and blue wire loops. 6 cylinder, cut the red loop and an 8 cylinder don't cut any loops.
Now plug in whatever RPM module you'll be using (those are the pills). Ok, now hook the thick red wire to a switched 12volt source (something that has power when your ignition is on). Connect the black wire to ground. Connect the white wire to the coil ground on a stock ignition. On an MSD ignition system connect the white wire to the tach output terminal.
Now, connect your yellow wire to the Vtec solenoid wire. This will open the switch to ground and activate vtec when your desired RPM is reached. The grey wire is unused, it's for a switch that works in the opposite way (normally closed switch to ground).
Hope that helps--Trance
