I've given Dave his props and I respect him for what some of the things he's done, actually alot of them. I never did ever say that Dave was not a great tuner. Not once along with Leed,"just for you BDVT :-* " But Billy and Blake are the two best in my area. And I have not had any issues or heard any complaints.
I Pm'd BDVT and told him why and what I'm doing for what reasons. So no shame here |

Update 11/8/07:
I spoke with Derek Stevens of Hondata yesterday. I was not able to get a clear statement of what Hondata were looking for from me. I was not able to make any significant headway towards resolving this matter without litigation. There was no willingness to discuss how to resolve the matter at hand - I was simply directed to Hondata's council, Mr. Yesnick. When I called today, I was told that no one was interested in talking to me. Mr. Yesnick is unavailable to discuss this matter until tomorrow. I feel compelled to do everything I can to resolve this matter through discussion. This seems to be the last stop before litigation is unavoidable. Wish me luck. |

I still don't understand where they believe they have grounds for this suit. Since when is a forum's TOS not legal? Since when is not removing something within 48 hours not fast enough? Since when is Hondata someone who can make any sort of legal request and be taken seriously? I just don't understand it.

Wow, they really are showing their true colors on their own forum.
This is merely a vendetta against Dave. Doug seriously wants control of PGMFI or to have it shut down, and since Dave no longer owns the site, he is going after the closest legally attackable target. ------- pathetic. It is sad, because it is only a matter of time before people figure out the K series ECU, and I think that this is only fueling the fire to make it happen sooner. |

I just read the thread on Hondata's site. Its funny, seems nobody is supporting them even on their own site. How can they think they are not going to loose some customers over this?
I've been working on my turbo project for almost 2 yrs now :S I'm almost ready to install every thing and start tuning. I couldn't have done this with out this site and pgmfi. I will definately not be buying any hondata products! I think I'll use crome and buy all my hardware from Xenocron. My wife just passed the cali bar last week. She does civil work, but not ip or internet law. If we can be of any assistance just let me know. I just want to say thank you to all of the members of this site and pgmfi. I've learned so much from just reading your experiences and comments. |

Is hondata selling much anymore? I hardly know anyone who runs hondata. Maybe cause they suck. Well, unfortunatly it will only hurt them cause people like me will make sure that those who i race with and those who i teach go with other managments then hodata. Can they sue over my opinions cause i guess i am guilty. Donation made!

chatted with Dave last night, no mention of the lawsuit, did ask him a simple Hondata S200 question, he wasn't sure of the answer.
He did seem in alot better spirits than in the past, plus his daughters first birthday is coming up! |
