Ok. Well today I installed my o2 sim. I was wondering, can I install the smc before I put in the dsm 450's? Or will this cause problems?

yes you can but you will not have enought gas.

But if you put all your setting to 0 % maybe it will run fine?

Somebody else can confirm this?

 

Yeah, you'll have no problems if you keep the settings at 0%. I'm installing my AFC before the injectors and turbo, just to get it out of the way and learn how to use it.

 

does any one have any luck with the smc dual??just got one of those but haven't figured it out yet.

 

i got my smc dual. i installed it and after ii figured out how to tune the damn thing it's sweet. i'm only running n/a right now untill i get enough money for a boost gauge so i can throw on my kit.i am still running stock injectors, couuld i run n/a with 450cc's untill i get turbo on

 

I don't think the SMC will lean it out enough for you to run 450's n/a.

 

it says it will give you decent idle, and you idle with 450cc's and little to no boost right? i'll just wait till i put my turbo kit on

 

Bringin this post back. Installed my smc, all the wires are fine. Idling at 1,500. And when I rev it, it drops rpms fast like normal until 2k then goes down slowly by 100rpm down to 1,500 idle. Its without the 450 injectors, and on a walbro 255 pump. Its seeming to run real rich at 0%. Is there anyway I can bring this idle down? It'll be a few days before im boosted.
