Default signs of bad crank angle sensor....?

Just swapped out my b16 for an ls motor in my crx, it was converted to obd1 but when i put the ls motor in i converted it back to obd0 because when it was obd1 i was having problems, anyway i got everything done on teh car and am running turboedit car started right up first time but I got a code for crank angle sensor, and coolant temp sensor, when i went to rev the car up it wont go past 31-3200 rpms just starts to back fire, etc. I was wondering if that will be caused by the crank angle sensor or if it is something else, i guess just throw me some ideas im almost 100 percent sure that it is probably the wiring for the distributor etc but just looking for some opinions, thanks

Switch the two wires for the crank angle sensor (CYP or CKP?)

Check your ECT sensor as well...if that isnt hooked up correctly your fans might not turn on when they should.

just out of curiosity when using turbo edit and you burn a chip with launch control is the launch control activated by speedo, or is it activated by something else?

The ecu reads both RPM and the speed signal to use the launch control. So, if your speedo isn't working, you will more than likely throw a VSS code and your launch control will not work properly.

well the problem is im throwing a code 4 for crank angle sensor and I have the launch control set around 3500. Now the front end is up on jackstands w/o the axles in and ill start the car and slowly put it in first gear so the speed is working but when i rev it up it bounces of rev limiter in the 3200-3500 zone. So im trying to figure out if this is the launch control or of this is the code 4 because someone told me that the launch control can be used by the a/c button (which I dont have) and im just trying to narrow down my problems, thanks.

I also tried switching the wires on the distributor side for the crank angle, and there was no difference so im thinking that one or so of the wires are disconnected at the ecu clip, ive been looking at the manuals for this and its saying that it should be wires b10,b12 an orange and white but on my harness it looks like thier diff colors and everything down there is a clusterfuck so my next attempt is to take the wiring harness inside and out of my integra and jsut redue the whole thing....

found out today that it is not the launch control from turbo edit, but indeed the crank angle sensor, i looked at the crx manual in the hybrid section and it says that u connect the orange and white wire from the distributor to pins b10 and b12 wich should also be orange and white, but when i went to look they were diff. color wires and even when i spliced into them it still showed code 4, anyone know if those are the right pins, or if i should be looking for something else? , thanks again
