Default resistors for vtec conversion

Anyone know if we could use 1/4 w resistors for vtec conversion or does it has to be specifically 1/8 watt. I've asked Xenocron but he hasn't responded. These resistors are to go in RM11 for the vtec conversion in a p06 ecu, also the board type is a 1720 board.

Dont know for sure, as the only conversion I've done, I was able to use an RM11 thingy from a bum P28.
If it was me, and I needed to get something up and running, Id just try it out. Pretty easy to take it back out if it doesnt work.
