Default Conversion and Parts list for OBD2 to OBD1 Conversion

I understand this topic has been covered numerous times on a very generic level, but I wanted to give this forum a shot at it.

Car is a 2000 Accord, F23A1 motor. OBD2.

Setup will be mild for simplicity purposes here, ~.4 bar generally producing ~210wtq.

Looking for a viable tuning option, which of course most will recommend Uberdata/Hondata, or the more popular Crome Pro w/Ostrich. Everyone boasts 'most' of these as free tuning options, though I've see only problems with conversions using this car, which generally require $300-400+ in extra parts to do it correctly.

My dilemma:

Converting this car is much more involved than just a chipped P28 and conversion harness. Now I'm no pro with engine management, but I have researched enough on this subject to find issues such as the 3-wire IAC, injector harness, issues with a/c?? I'm really at a loss when it comes to all the troubles people have gone through by switching.

Here are my questions...

1. What functionality will be lost by converting. By this i mean sensors, diagnostics, functionality in the car, anything that inhibits the luxuries or driveablity of the car?

2. What extra parts might I forsee having to swap for this to work? Some say it's necessary to swap the IM for an OBD1, possibly to get around issues rewiring the IACV, thus requiring OBD1 FR?

I'm guessing that if i use a P28 ECU that it uses saturated injectors, and I can use saturated injectors WITHOUT a resistor box, to avoid a risk of buring up the injector drive circuitry?

Anything else I'm leaving out? I'm not very inclined to convert, but I just need a little incentive to make all the hassle worth my while. Flame away!
