Default ECU Management on boosted 2000 gs-r OBD2

Hey Guys, Well i have been trying to dig up some info on management for boosted gs-r, maybe you guys can help?
Please correct me if i am wrong, this is all pretty new to me and i have been taking in so much info over the past few weeks!

Currently i have the stock 2000 gsr ecu which im pretty sure is obd2 and cannot be used at all for my project.

It looks like im going to have to run the chipped p28 probably with hondata (not sure yet). Running a mild setup
6-7psi on stock internals.

The thing im concerned about is in NY they just recently started hooking the car up to obd scanner when you
get your car inspected. If i run the p28 will i have issues when it comes time to get inspected? If so what are some of you guys using?

I would recommend keeping your ecu, and your stock injectors. When they hook up their obd sensor, it'll see your obd2 ecu and you're golden

Either that, or get an ajustable fpr, and get your car to idle w/ the 450's on your stock ecu.

Well i thought my only option was to use emanage with strict NY inspection laws on an obd2 ecu.
But then i realized that inspection is once every two years.
Im just going to get the p28 chipped with uberdata like i originally wanted.
(If you guys have a better suggestions let me know, 7psi daily, sort of on a budget)

Then when its time for inspection i will just buy a used fmu and FPR and use that the day
i get it inspected. Who knows maybe two years down the road i will have new plans for my car.

I was sort of influenced by this thread
