If i have a Hondata system do i still need to buy a MSD ignition system?

MSD ignitions improve the quality of spark givng to your combustion chamers.

So, "no" you don't "need" it, but it is a good mod for boosted applications.

I noticed no difference after installing my ignition system. I really wasnt expecting to either, but so far my stocker was just fine up to 8psi on B16.

IMHO aftermarket ignitions are not needed unless you start getting into higher boost pressures.
