question about my p28 from hondata

Default question about my p28 from hondata

it has a obd2b connector on it.. is there anyway i can put a normal p28 connector on it or am i better or trading or selling for another p28 for my obd1 eg

An OBD2b P28 would actually be a P2P. Does it say P28 on it? Got pictures?

hondata sets up some ecus with obd2 connectors on them...actually kinda cool imho

sure makes things easier. im not a fan of a bunch of extra wires when i dont need them

kinda cool if you have a 2000 si or something... i couldnt find a harness adapter from obd1 to obd2b... they are all obd2b to obd1... i didnt check that xenoncron but that is too much im not paying that, ill just chip another p28.

and yes its a p28

ill upload some pics later for you guys..

Basic reason Hondata does this is so that OBD2 cars will pass a visual inspection in Cali

odd...do they not test the obd2 functionality as well? I guess you mean if they get pulled over or something, not an actual "inspection"

well ---- i dont know what to do.. i dont have a rom burner or anything like that so im not liking the s200 thus far..

i think hondata does a trade-in / upgrade for the s300.. i read that on hondata.com..
anyone know how much credit you get from trading in the 200?
