how much boost on my 99 si with 255 pump 12:1 FMU on 94 ocatane, currently running 5PSI and it just pulls like crazy, no pinging what so ever with d 93 ocatane and no retarding of timing.

i thought that it was going to be a problem with that turbo but after i took off the cat the car pulls so good that on first gear the wheels start loosing grip at like 6000 rpm after i had already been going and on second gear it feels like the tires are going to do the same thing, with a little more boost i wouldnt be surprised it it did it on 2nd gear too.

 

kinda like my set up...t28 ar.80 and a .63 turbine....at about 3900 with 195/60/14 she breaks loose through 4 gears....hell shell even spin if im rollin at 40mph and mash the gas....i really need to get new tires....or a wider geared tranny.

 

Id feel good enough to run up to 8-10psi with that setup. Id be more concerned about the timing. Either BTM or setting your base to 10ish for 8psi.
