Problem with willem burner and sst27c256 chip.. help!
Sup,
im trying to burn my turboedit rom using my willem pcb 2.5 burner and a sst27c256 chip. When i attempt to write, it gives me a "Error at 0x000100 Chip = 0x02 buffer = 0xC2".. any ideas why? There is a little diagram on the board for erase.. when i set the jumpers as shown, i can erase the chip and it verifies that it is empty. Any ideas? i need to get this working so i can get my car running. Thx

Ok i figured it out guys, the willem 2.5 WILL burn sst27sf256 chips perfectly! I was having problems until i moved the 2 jumpers to the left of the ZIF right.. there were both on the left 2 pins and i moved both of them over and its perfect now. Woohoo! success with 29c256 and 27sf256
