I have that burner. I had it out of the box and burned a chip in about 5 minutes and that includes hooking it up and flipping all the dips 
The only issue I had was using the latest software 97ja, that was missing a couple IO .dll's that I didn't feel like tracking down on my 2k and Xp systems, so I just used 97g and it works great.
