Default possible burn1 problem

ok i have a buddys car with a chipped pr3 bought off ebay. whenever i burn a chip and put in it it acts like it has a 4k rev limit? the chip that came in it works fine but is not safe with outrageous high rev limit and low vtec.

here is my settings

BRE stock JDM PW0 map with 3,500 2step and no change in vtec or rev limit.
Burn1 loads to Flash & Burn
Flash & Burn Settings are SST-27SF512 chip start 008000 - 00FFFF Buffer start 000000 - 007FFF

chip burns and runs then 4,000 rpms hits a rev limiter. car is a 91 crx with b16a. the ebay chip works so who ever chipped the ecu did it right so it makes me beleave its my burner.

this is also on pgmfi's site but i never see anyone get help there.

No Codes means the chip isnt the problem and the ECU isnt the problem...and neither is the burner.

Just means your maps in the program are not good...

Remove the 2step and see if that is your problem. Back with uberdata, sometimes the FTL rpm would become the all-time redline, stopped or cruising.
