Default odd datalogging problem

i have datalogged with this ecu before with no problems. then the car pretty much sat for 2 years and now when i try to datalog i just get all kinds of crazy info. everything is all over the place and nothing reacts to revving the engine or anything. the only change that i have made is using an ostrich instead of a chip now. i did somehow manage to pull the 4 pin conector out once but i soldered it back in. i chipped the ecu myself and the car has been runnign on the same ecu for 3 years so i know my solder connections are fine

i have tried all of the stand alone dataloggers on pgmfi.org. there is a thread about using new crome settings for freelog(i think it was freelog, i cant remember for sure) on pgmfi but when i tried it the program shutdown immediately. i just havent had time to go back and check the settings probably this weekend
