the motor is obd2a, and your car is obd0. the easiest way will be to find an obd0 pr4 ecu to run the motor, then you'll need to take your obd0 distributor and injectors off your old motor and put them on the new motor, then just swap it in. i believe the fan switch is on the back of the block on the b18 and it is on the thermostat housing on the obd0 motor (haven't done a crx swap in a while so i could be wrong), you'll need to wire a switch or something to turn the fan on. other than that, you really don't need any harness since your crx is already mpfi, you just use your existing harness that is on your old engine.

no fan switch is needed

my obd1 ls has 2 temp sensors, one on teh block and the one on the t-stat housing. both will turn on teh fan and operate teh gauge, but i think they have diff output becasue i use the one on the t-stat housing and i am always in "cold start"

i havent quite figured out teh running rich prob yet though, but i am leaning towards teh diff outputs

SO EVERYTHING WILL MATCH RIGHT UP IF I SWITCH THE INJECTORS AND THE DISTRIBUTOR? AND THEN I JUST NEED A ECU. THEN HOW DO I DO THAT SWITCH THING FOR THE FAN? DO YOU THINK IT WOULD BE EASIER JUST TO COMPLETELY SWITCH OVER THE HARNESS OR SHOULD I JUST MODIFY

Wire the two wires for the old thermostat to the new thermo on 97 motor. You may need to extend them...if they dont turn the fan on, switch the wires, you hooked them up reverse.

Injectors will be fine...except you need to disable the resistor box if you have one or use the old injectors from your previous motor.
