Default OBD2 O2 SENSORS WITH SAFC

my buddy has a 97 integra that hes going to be running an -afc on with blue tops. the question is, does the AFC need to read both O2 sensors or can it work with just one? and if it can work on just one, can u remove the second one completly?

nice post brett i wold really benifit from this knowledge myself although i think i have other problems too with the obd2. Apparently a BTM is not a good option for timing retard and chipping the ECU is the answer but i am not sure chipping an OBD2 is possible or affordable.

this is why i dont deal with all this emsissions control ----. both my hondas are obd0 so they are easy as hell to tune. but if anyone has any idea on how to wire up an s-afc on an obd2 integra LS my buddy brian (and the last mohican) would be very grateful) thanks guys

my aapex s-afc doesnt hook to the o2 sensor at all. it uses map voltage tps signal and rpm signal to control and reduce the map signal for the ecu. has nothing to do with the o2 sensors so you should be fine
