when wiring the SAFC up do people prefer to solder or connect using scotch blocks to the ECU wiring harness?
Also anyone know where the blue, purple, orange, pink, and grey wires go? am i meant to have spare wires or have i read the manual wrong

Default Re i have a s-afc in my 90 civic si

yes there will be a few wires left over. i know for a fact u do not use the blue one. first thing u need to do is go to http://www.apex.com and download the installation instructions and the usa wire plug diagram. u need adobe to read these files so i hope u have a version of it. then SOLDER the wires. any other connections is not as good as solder. and it is a very vital part of ur turbo system. if it goes down under boost im sure the engine will die. any more question let me know. a chilton book is helpful for firguring out the wiring.

Well, that all depends if you want to do the Blue wire mod to monitor your O2 voltage or not. Sooo, you can use the blue one on a Honda.
More info on the extra wires on this thread.
