wiring any of these is gona be cake for accord/preludes since the map sensor fits inside the black box without a problem.

These should be a very nice, as well as cheap, alternative to the GM map sensors, since the motorola/freescale sensors don't have a goofy vacuum issue. Kinda useless if you don't boost over 22psi, since you can sell your oem sensor for ~$15-20 on ebay.

THe one thing I'd suggest is a better way to put that little thing in the OEM map sensor. After digging to get the wires, the port on that thing can be glued to the where the tiny o-ring is inside the oem sensor case. Its the same size then, and you won't have to worry about any hose poping off a nipple, and can make it look exactly like stock. BTW the alternative to that adapter would be a plate the same thickness as a very common source of 1/8" aluminum - road signs! Buy a 1/8" NPT tap for $5-10 and you've got a nice plate to put a barbed fitting.

There is no way the 6 pin 2.5 BAR case in there. Unless you mean the stock TB one. You don't need any hose. It fits right back on the TB and looks....stock.

I had a 1/8 NPT already for doing LS/VTEC setups. Mike brought the aluminum, so it was pretty much free. The adapter is exactly what you are referring to, just 1/2" thick.

I was refering to the tiny sensor & the 1.75 tb-mounted version. I don't like obd0 or preludes

Basicly I described the bottom of your post a bit better. You trasition from an opened/wired tb-mounted housing to the picture of the uncut housing and unwired sensor. You don't really have to dig all that crap out of the stock housing though. Done right, it looks bone stock, and functions just like stock.

I hope to suprise a few people here with it. I'll have this and use it with my 'special' turbo, a normal 50 trim T3 (.42/.48 stg 1 housings) except it has the housing/plate machined to accept the 57trim T4 compressor wheel. They'll be mistified when I have power like a high-boost hybrid, but have a T3 and functioning stock MAP...

I don't think you get it. This picture right here HAS the tiny 4 BAR inside of it.

You have to use Boost Tools to select custom sensor, then input the values. IIRC the 4bar is 200 to 4000 mbar, the 3bar is 200 to 3040 mbar, etc. Then you have to move the columns around & retune a bit, or at least I haven't played around enough to have it do it for me.

You could fit like 8 of those sensors in there. I think he just glued it on & refilled it with something. You can just epoxy the sensor's nipple to the hole, then refill the area you dug out behind it with caulk or epoxy, as long as you insulate the sensor leads first.

As for racepack's question, I made housings for the large, non-ported 2.5bar. Finished right before they re-introduced the ported versions. But they also make a 2.5bar the size of that 4bar he posted and do the same. Same with the 3bar freescale makes.

Well all their sensors seem to be a sealed element w/in a epoxy resin case & internally coated with florosilicone. I looked that stuff up, and its resistant to hyrdalic fluid, but iono about gas/oil. I'd send them an email asking. The 7bar sensor above reads 102psi absolute, so ~88psi usable. Just enough for a honda's oil system.

MADMAX, I've been stuffing Motorola 2.5 bar into OBD1/2 enclosures for a while now. Thanks for ruining my #1 method of taking money from high dollar riceboys at the streetraces - previously, they thought I was running a stock MAP "and could only be making xxx whp."

Well, it was a nice thing while it lasted.
