Well the Motorola 2.5 bar works great. We got done with a street tune tonight.
Dropped down to stock wg spring (10psi) and worked up slowly to 18 psi.
The boost controller is still working perfect. Holds the set psi straight across with no spikes.
Gotta jump on the dyno soon and get it to the track.

I'm suprised that nobody else really caught on when I mentioned the 3/4 and 7 bar map sensors in that 'other' locked thread. I was going to get a set for free before they caught on, just haven't bought any yet. These should be a very nice, as well as cheap, alternative to the GM map sensors, since the motorola/freescale sensors don't have a goofy vacuum issue. Kinda useless if you don't boost over 22psi, since you can sell your oem sensor for ~$15-20 on ebay.
THe one thing I'd suggest is a better way to put that little thing in the OEM map sensor. After digging to get the wires, the port on that thing can be glued to the where the tiny o-ring is inside the oem sensor case. Its the same size then, and you won't have to worry about any hose poping off a nipple, and can make it look exactly like stock. BTW the alternative to that adapter would be a plate the same thickness as a very common source of 1/8" aluminum - road signs! Buy a 1/8" NPT tap for $5-10 and you've got a nice plate to put a barbed fitting.
