Default Logworks 2 and Crome

I want to start tuning my chipped P28 ECU in my turbo acura 2.2 cl. The problem is I don't have a laptop, I only have a PC. I have some friends with laptops that would let me use them for tuning, but I don't want to purchase a $150 Crome Pro licence for a computer that's not mine. Looking into Innovate's website I found that with the LM-1 and the USB datalogging hookup to my ECU I can datalog everything using Innovate's free LogWorks 2 software. Can I tune effectively with the free version of Crome while using LogWorks for datalogging?

If you aren't using crome pro to dl, I'd just use freelog and an lc-1. Freelog will datalog all the other sensors you need through the ecu, with no need for extra components like an rpm converter, or whatever you would need to log with the LM-1. I never messed with the lm-1 but I couldn't see the logs being layed out any easier than freelog, which is... free

My $.02 It would save you money that could be invested into a lappy in the future.

Until such time as someone fixes the plugin for LW2, or the folks at Innovate work out the bugs in LW3, just use Freelog and an LC-1 like said above.
