Default Crome IAT and ECT chit chat...

this very cool and new feature really puts a new demension to dialing in fuel maps. Ive been messing around and havn't really been able to nail it down 100%. anyone have any luck with it?

oh wow... after reading a post on pgmfi.org about cromes new features its pretty ------- intense. http://forum.pgmfi.org/viewtopic.php...asc&highlight=

after reading that whole thread i have a better understanding... but for the hobby tuner will the settings that come as is be OK for starting point?

i downloaded that handler, but how do you apply it to crome?

I haven't had any problems with the values that come in uberdata or crome. I usually just tune the fuel maps like usual, then notice any changes in weather or IAT and see what happens to my A/F, trying to keep everything constant. I have noticed I have had to add some fuel to ECT mid load. That is about all I have touched on my personal car, and it seems to run fine.

In my experience...those corrections will relate to the injectors you are running

the ones that come stock in a P30 are for 240cc injectors. They wont change much but will change.

if its a handler...put it in the "handlers" folder

if its a plugin, install the plugin

i didnt know there was a handlers folder. i know very little how programs work.

they're very handy for your own personal car where you will be driving in a bunch of different conditions to where you can utilize the features to get that 'perfect' year round tune, but let's face it, if you're tuning someone elses car, you're just not in enough different conditions to make the most of the tools, unless you have a climate controlled dyno building, in which case you're just a pimp
