Saturday night, cool, elevation ~2200 ft, I hung dead even with a buddy's B20/VTEC from his Honda Challenge car, which is run off of an EMS. Suckered was dyno'd 180-something hp and 151 tq.

Sunday day, hot, elevation ~3000 ft, I put about 9 car lengths on him from 40 mph to 70 mph, we punched it at a roll.

Your tune with the EMS changes a LOT with changes in altitude, temperature, and humidity. You have to tune and retune and retune to get it *right*. I like the fact you can invent a brand new sensor out of thin air tomorrow and have a basemap to use it fabbed up in an hour or two for the EMS... but if you just want to drive your ---- + aren't a tuning fanatic, you should go some other alternative.
