Chip addressing 0000H to 7FFFH
Buffer addressing 0000H to 7FFFH |
Re: I dunno whats wrong.
The AT29C256 will automatically address itself with the flashburn program I beleive.
When you burn a chip do this. erase blank check load file to buffer program chip verify chip with buffer If all that comes out okay, then you are applying the image correctly. That however tells you nothing about the file. Try burning another .bin on there and see if you get the solid CEL. You don't have to turn the car on, just to the run position on the ignition. odds of a bad solder job are low, odds of a bad chip are also low. |

Re: I dunno whats wrong.
I would guess a bad file then. Just burn any "known good" .bin and turn the key to the run position.
BTW: did the verification say that it was good? |
Re: I dunno whats wrong.
yup it said it was good :/

Re: I dunno whats wrong.
It may been uploaded fine and all the bytes are fine, but that doesn't check for validity of the bin, only the ecu is going to do that, by giving you a solid check engine light because the program doesn't run correctly.
