Yup thats right. Chip in the bottom slot with arm at the top with a few spaces in between right?

dot on chip bottum left twords lil handle chip sits to the far right of the slots..

I had one chip that consistantly said it bunrt good and never really worked. Try another chip.

I had the same problem with 1 sst512 chip. What a pain in the *** it was. Tried an amtel and it worked no problem. I don't ever use SSTs anymore.

The problem I had was with a 29C256 amtel. I have had no issues with the SST chips.
