Default how shitty does a base map run?

How shitty is a car with a "basemap supposed to run? I took my ECU to a local shop to have them install crome to get it ready to be Leed tuned. And they put a "basemap" on it. I told them what they asked me for like info on the motor. Well I get the motor in and start it up. The car will not stay running no matter how warm it gets. I have to keep pumping it to stay alive. My buddy says that they probably put my injectors at damn near 100% duty cycle for liability reasons. He says that 880cc will not run smooth. I was just curious if that could be it or something else is wrong. I am only throwing two codes. IAT, and some auto trans solinoid lockout. So I cant see anything else being worng any suggestions.

Yeah the map will make it run like ---- one way or another if they do something wrong. I tried to do one for myself a while back. ran like ----. no power. i took it to a buddies house and he fixed it quick. something with the values I copied over.. plenty of other stories where it was down to the basemap that was messing ---- up.

fix the codes first.

I bet the shop did nothing in the advanced ---- in crome were you can tune the injectors in for votage offset at idle and all that happy horseshit. And since you have 880cc's they will be harder to get to idle than smaller injectors.

it doesnt even try to idle at all. You have to pump the gas to keep it running. If you try to hold the pedal down at say 2500rpms it will go there and stay for about a second and then die. It will not hold steady anywhere only if you pump it. I cant fix the automatic trans lock out I am going ot start looking around on the IAT. But I will have to wait till a tuner gets a hold of the ecu.

Code 10 = Bad IAT Sensor or bad wiring.

Code 19 = Convert Auto ECU to Manual...basically cut out jumper RP17
