How many of you street tuned with a/f gauge and chipping

Re: How many of you street tuned with a/f gauge and chipping
you can NOT tune anything with an AF gauge. throw that thing away.
reading a stock narrowband o2 sensor for tuning is about as useful as shitting in your hand and throwing it at the toilet, instead of sitting on the damn thing in the first place.

i know this is kinda a retarded follow up, but keeping in pace with my other lowballer tendencies, is there a cheapass wideband option? i was looking around and there all like 350$-400$... ... thats like half my monthly income..

Re: How many of you street tuned with a/f gauge and chipping
I got a PLX-300 for just over $300 shipped... If you can't afford it, there are some cheaper ones that I won't comment on because I don't know anything about them. Or, maybe you could get a couple of buddies together and go in on one together to share. Or buy one and rent it out to said buddies?
But back to the original question, my A/Fs are all over the place, so unless you're the terminator with electronic eye data-logging computer ---- going on, there's no way to know what your A/F is doing visually. I can barely keep up with my WB display... I know it's expensive, but sometimes being totally cheap in the beginning ends up getting REAL expensive in the end.

Just a heads up.... Autometer will be coming out with a gauge-type wideband 02 soon!
It should be out some time this summer and be in the $300 range...
I'm getting one for sure!
