Default help!!..

ok, i bought the batronix EEprom programmer, put it all together, plug it in to the power supply and run a few checks to make sure its all fine and dandy, and its ok working fine, i can connect to it with the software included with it, but turbo-edit just freezes my computer everytime i try to burn a chip.?? and if it doesnt freeze, it closes the program. so i tried to burn the bin with the software included with the programmer and it says it cant burn the first byte. i dont know what is going on, but i know im tired of messing with it! any help would be greatly appreciated!

TurboEdit doesn't have anything to do with the burning of the chip so you shouldn't be burning any chips with TurboEdit. I don't see how TurbpEdit can freeze your computer up while you are burning a chip.

I'm retarded so don't mind my stupid comments/questions.

Are you taking the .bin that you created in TurboEdit, saving it, opening it in the burner software, and then burning? Just trying to figure out what's going on.....

http://www.-------------/te/basemap.htm

when you convert and save.... you cant reconvert and save in the same bin.... it will cause it TE to freeze...

i hope that makes sense

you are just gonna have to save as a *new* bin and not save over a previously converted bin

there. i think that's better

i saved it as a new file, opened "prog-studio" and opened it in there, clicked program IC, and it said "already programmed addresses cannot be programmed without preceding erasing of IC" yet it wont let me erase it.
