Why would bigger injectors have anything to do with timing .

tsk tsk Steve. You know better than that. Scaling your MAP, scales both fuel and timing.

Ive never used the hack, BUT if I was running 10psi on 450's and scaling down %38, Id retard 5* at the dizzy to start, and work your way up from there.
Uber might seem more complicated/hassle in the beginning, but like everyone says its worth it. 100% control over all fueling situations and verifiably correct timing under boost.

Good luck

why does everyone now refers to the hack as shitty, when I 1st became a member of this forum it seems the hack was the only way, everyone loves it, now its the worst. but I used the hack and the only problem I had was limited boost level. just add a BTM and it will be fine, if I was at home I would sell you mine, the hack is ok.... but I'm upgrading to uberdata anyways, but the hack is still fine.

the "hack" is just that.... A hack.

in most all cases a hardware hack is never as good as adressing the problem directly so that is why everyone now says that uberdata is the way to go for obd1/2; te for obd0 and so forth. I wasn't around when the hack was the only way to do this thing so i'm not going to comment on that but i believe what you say. It's just that now bigger and better things exist so why not convert. You can sell a Safc or Vafc for enough to convert to obd1 and buy all the ---- you'll need to h4x your own computer so why not ditch it and pocket some change and have superior fuel/spark management.

I tried the fmu, I tried the hack, now its time for uberdata! but its true the hack is more expensive, I paid a total of $130 for my burner and chipping parts.I had the 450cc injectors, 255lph pump from the hack... and I bought a 3 bar sensor for $60,,, my laptop cost me $1250, but I can't say the computer is only for tuning, its also my entertainment in Iraq... I heard you can use a palm pilot also,,,
