FTL/FTS trips on begining or end of clutch throw
I got to my usual over thinking that maybe I'm doing this wrong so what do you guys run and what works best? I don't have my car legal so I can't experiment this and a friend wants it added to his car.
My thoughts on at the cruise switch: when you're letting the clutch out it will still be active and holding rev's until the clutch is completely let out. I had it set up this way at first, but I ended up not using it much cause my launches sucked if I tried to slip the clutch at all my revs would still be jumping at my FTL limit.
That made me think of the starter input, but that will make you push the clutch all the way to the floor and I don't know many people that do that when racing. Plus at FTL if you try and preload then you're ftl rev limit will probably be gone?
Maybe my best bet would be to set up the FTL in a different manner and leave it connected to the clutch switch. I know the easiest thing would be to stop thinking about this ---- and test it all out, but I can't right now as my car had an overheating gremlin so I took it off the road until I have time to fix it, so for now I need your input.
Thanks
