my brother ran a fifth injector on his camry a couple years ago...worked good f or a couple months, then the engine blew. Only problem is it is like a temp fix, not a tuning solution....my .02

if you have the ability to control the original four injectors then the fifth will need no control other than on or off, if the fuel pressure stays constant, which it does, then you will have a steady and constant supply of fuel in boost which is where the standard injectors will overrun their maximum duty cycle without the aid of the fifth injector

acually my idea would work and It explained why yours wouldn't because yours is not a progressive system. I also made it known that it would be much simpler to do it right then to ------ rig it together. I used sarcasm to get my point across but it was still a help to you. i dont see that your way would work better than what i suggested seeing as you still maintain the control over the original injectors but with a constant supply of extra fuel, either way though im getting answers that i want, cheers

Im actually planning on running this type of set up on my car, except im going to run two extra injectors that are controlled by an ERL MF2 this is what turbonetics uses with thier fmax turbo kit. You can use a seperate presser sensor to make a 2d map, or you can use any sensor that runs on 0-5 volts, like a map or maf sensor to create 3d map. The mf2 is pretty cheap to i have seen them go on ebay for 50 bucks. Im just using this until i can afford hondata s300 and larger injectors.

hahha this reminds me of my old setup.i ran a cold start injector (dont laughgh) hooked up to a rpm switch(yes a rpm switch) and it was in the intake piping. i ran 14psi on a stock y8 for a while using this setup. funny ----.oh but this was together with the hack and 450cc. blew the motor due to no timing control. ****** hauled *** though

cold start injectors arethe best!
