Fifth injector?

Fifth injector?
Ok, so i got a 91 crx...d16a6 block and rods, b2 pistons, and a z6 head. The motor runs good(very good), but for some reason at wot it leans out hard. I got a b&m fpr, and it's cranked up all the way, but it's just too lean. My question is, can i piggyback a fifth injector off one of the mains to add more fuel?(will be located in the intake piping) Still has stock injectors, I'm working on an afc hack, but for the time being seeing i'm broke and have a ton of injectors... Hit me back and lemme know. Thanx!

Re:Fifth injector?
you can not do that...you'll burn the ecu.
Just run the fifth injector from the 12 volts soarce(battery) and have like a rpm switch on it to activate it when vtec activates. Are you using the Z6 ecu? if not..that's your problem...no enough fuel on top

what are you using to turn vtec on? if its just a rpm switch that's why you're leaning out.. get a used VAFC and you can add fuel that way.

Re:Fifth injector?
Well, vtec is turned on by an rpm switch. I didn't use a z6 ecu because the crx still runs obd0. Swapping over to obd1 would have been a nightmare. And as far as just runnin 12 volts to the injector, that doesn't work...i tried. Besides, if it did, u would be spraying constant fuel and over-enrichening it. I did add on a fifth injector anyway to see how it would work, and it actually works well(i have a spare ecu just in case this one fries). I would still eventually rather do the vafc hack down the road though. Thanx guys!
