ECU chipping how-to
I went to PGMFI and it seems to be down. I searched through here and couldnt find anything, but I need instructions on chipping a jdm obd0 pr3. I bought the kit from xenocron and there is a TV repair shop in town that doe sit, but I need instructions.
so this is my situation. My ecu is already "chipped"(rev limiter removed) but it was soldered directly to the board. Now other than soldering the ZIF socket in, do I need to do anything else? I also have a datalogging cable I need to get working too. I will paypal someone 5 bucks if they wanna give me a write up.

If it was already 'chipped' then it seems you simply remove the existing chip and add your own. All the components to support the chip should already be there.
how's that for the write-up?
