The only people crying about paying for software that they cant burn a chip for are the people that bought a single Crome Pro string and tuned every Honda in a 500 mile radius.

And as far as not wanting to buy an ostrich, If you are trying to tune a car in 2008 without real time programming then you are pissing in the wind. Its like trying to work on a Honda without a 10mm socket. Sure you may have been able to get it done, but it took you way too long and you probably fu*ked something up in the process.

For the licensing of the ostrich,Calvin is just trying to protect his software. He does not want people to take advantage of him, just like you wouldn't want someone taking advantage of your hard work. Calvin has worked very hard on this software and is still working his *** off so that when he does release this software it will be the best available. Its really cool to be a tuner and ask for a feature, wait a couple of days and Calvin has a new update for you to test. Sure there might be a bug, but the feature is there and as long as you do good bug reporting its flawless within a week.

The options and tools that this program offers, have without a doubt, made me a better tuner.

Im off my soap box- -Game on

I was planing on using Crome Pro, but I must said that eCtune sounds promising.
Anybody using it, how is it comparte to the others? Have you got good results from it?

After using eCtune the second time I never opened Crome again.

I probably have more dyno tunes w/ eCtune than any of the other Authorized Tuners, I am just to lazy to post them up.

I need to buy it. I have been pretty happy with crome over the years dealing with the issues but having fuel/ignition maps being correct will be a nice change of pace.

No sir, no ZCs. You'll have to take care of that for us.

Start off with an LS basemap as it is closest to what a ZC wants for NA timing, yank a bit more timing under boost like she's a D-series.
