Default Datalogging questions

Okay if i got the adapter for a laptop to the ECU... where EXACTLY do you solder or put the adapter?? also how fast of a laptop would you need to use datalogging?

You solder it to the CN2 ports on the ecu. I think that is what you are asking.. you can use a datalogging cable, I have found that is the easiest way.

i sell the 4 pin header and max233 cable with the 4 pin female plug ready to go (smaller max233 that is installed in the cable, not the big clunky ones that you have to assemble and mount in the ecu :P) for 30 bucks. all you have to do is desolder pins 1-4 at cn2, solder in the 4 pin header and then plug the cable up.

Hey, thanks for all this info, i think i'll love TE more than the AFC hack lets hope! also i'll be having Xenocron installing my chip and rely on a more experienced guy install my ----, then i'll tune it myself from there Xenocron is the ----! he's been helping me every step of the way!!! and thanks to everyone else who provided infomation
